Flexible Industry Pathway (FIP) Skills Cluster

Introduction to Viticulture and Wine Operations (Skills Cluster)

The Introduction to Viticulture and Wine Operations skill cluster is nationally accredited training available as a Flexible Industry Pathway for school students.

This program provides practical entry-level skills that reflect the real work of the viticulture and wine industries, including supporting irrigation systems, assisting with soil testing, and maintaining strict hygiene standards for equipment.

Students gain hands-on experience that builds a strong foundation for further study or future careers in horticulture, viticulture, agriculture, and food processing. By completing this cluster, students begin developing the technical knowledge and workplace practices valued across South Australia’s wine and agricultural sectors.
