Today, the SALC team says farewell to Ashley Thompson, our Executive Director for the past 18 months.
During his time with SALC, Ashley made a lasting contribution to the growth and direction of the business. He championed the development and launch of our new website and brand, helping to better showcase who we are and the work we do. He also supported funding towards significant system and equipment improvements, giving SALC the modern tools and infrastructure needed to continue growing and delivering high quality training into the future.
Beyond these achievements, Ashley was a genuine supporter of the SALC team. He encouraged new ideas, backed his staff and was always approachable and generous with his time. His leadership created an environment where people felt trusted, supported and empowered to do their best work.
His presence will certainly be missed, but we sincerely thank Ashley for his leadership and contribution, and wish him every success and happiness in the next chapter of his career.
