Individual Support – Disability (Skill Set)
This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in providing person-centred support to people with disability. It is suited to:
- Individuals who have completed the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing specialisation) and now wish to add the Disability specialisation.
- New entrants looking to develop foundational skills in individual support
- Existing workers seeking to formalise experience or gain a nationally recognised qualification
- Career changers transitioning into the community services field

This Skill Set includes a total of four (4) units.
To complete the practical assessment requirements of this qualification, you may need to undertake a period of relevant industry work placement.
