This course is designed for people, including those with disability or other barriers to learning, who are looking to build confidence, core skills, and work readiness in a supportive and inclusive training environment. It focuses on developing foundational language, literacy, numeracy, and employability skills that prepare learners for further vocational education or entry-level work.

Units of Competency

The FSK10119 Certificate I in Access to Vocational Pathways includes a total of eleven (11) units – nine (1) core and six (10) electives.

This qualification is designed for individuals who require significant foundation skills support to access a vocational learning pathway.

The qualification is suitable for individuals who require:

  • entry level digital technology and employability skills.
  • a pathway to employment and further vocational training
  • reading, writing, oral communication, learning and numeracy skills primarily aligned to Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 1
