This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in providing person-centred support to older people, within the delegations of an established individualised plan.

This skill set is for workers entering or working in community services or health sector roles. It is suited to:

  • New entrants looking to develop core skills for work in the community services or health sector
  • Existing workers seeking to formalise their experience or gain a nationally recognised credential
  • Career changers transitioning into community services or health sector roles
