Individual Support – Ageing (Skill set)
This skill set is for individuals who hold a qualification at Certificate III level or higher in Community Services, Health or a related field, work in various care and support roles and who wish to develop skills in providing person-centred support to older people, within the delegations of an established individualised plan. It is suited to:
- New entrants looking to develop foundational skills in individual support
- Existing workers seeking to formalise experience or gain a nationally recognised qualification
- Career changers transitioning into the community services field
- Individuals who have completed the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability specialisation) and now wish to add the Ageing specialisation

To complete the practical assessment requirements of this qualification, you may need to undertake a period of relevant industry work placement.
