At SALC, we see that impact every day.
In our latest sample of students completing the CHC33021 Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability), approx. 65% went on to gain employment with Minda, while a further 25% gained employment with other disability service providers.
Behind those numbers are people starting new careers, building confidence and putting their skills into practice. And in disability support, those skills have an impact well beyond the learner, helping to provide skilled, safe and person-centred support to people with disability. A qualification can open the door to a new career.
That’s why this year’s National Skills Week theme, Life Changing, means so much to us.
